Pelvic Joints

 

  1. Lumbosacral: The lumbosacral is located between the fifth lumbar vertebra and the upper end of the sacrum.
  2. Sacroiliac: The sacroiliac connects the auricular surfaces of the sacrum and the ilium.
  3. Pubic symphysis: The pubic symphysis is joined by the interpubic disc of fibrocartilage, which is strengthened by the anterior, posterior, superior, and inferior (arcuate) ligaments.

Sacrococcygeal and coccygeal joints: The sacrococcygeal and coccy­geal joints are miniatures of intervertebral joints.
